The Wilderness Society’s Nature Book Week (5-11 September) is a time for readers of all ages to celebrate nature writing in its many forms—from science writing to poetry, fiction and non-fiction.
Our recommended book list below, can be found on page 12 of the 2022 Environmental Art Project Education Resource Pack, and includes some fantastic nature titles to read during Nature Book Week, learn about Backyard Biodiversity or find artwork inspiration. Many have accompanying notes and activities for teachers.
