Media Release: Annual art project for primary school children spotlights biodiversity in the backyard

A series of three short video tutorials staring Angela Rossen Artist and Biodiversity Educator have been released for students, teachers and parents to learn about what biodiversity means in native gardens and the soil, thanks to support from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. The local artist, who’s practice “aim[s] to grow reconnection to and deeper understanding of the abundance, variety and sheer ingenuity of the natural world” also demonstrates some tips on how to translate learnings from the Mundaring Arts Centre education resources and videos, into an engaging artwork to be submitted.
